Ally
Alexandra (Ally) Brigley, soprano, is an active professional performer, studio owner, private music teacher and adjudicator. Originally from small-town Coronation, Alberta, Ally is a dedicated and passionate musician with twenty years of study and experience in performance.
Ally holds a Graduate Performance Diploma from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she studied with soprano Sara Goldstein-Gall and opera director David Gately. She previously completed a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Alberta under the guidance of Canadian tenor John Tessier, and earned her Bachelor of Music from the University of Alberta Augustana Campus.
Ally's operatic and musical theatre credits include; the concept premiere of Noémie in Cendrillon with Comic Book Opera, the soprano lead in Matthew Peterson's contemporary opera Voir Dire, Soprano Pig in Michael Ching's Three Little Pigs Remix, Oasis in L'Étoile, Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro, Mab in Jonathan Dove's The Enchanted Pig, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and Robin in Godspell.
Also a concert performer, Ally has performed as the Soprano soloist in Vivaldi's Gloria, Bach's Cantata No.78, select arias from Handel's Messiah, and a number of private concert for corporate and fundraising events.
