​"Hello! My name is Ally and I am a passionate and driven performer who strives to make music accessible, fun and inspirational! I believe music is a tool that creates a sense of artistry, discipline and community, and I apply these philosophies into my teachings! I have a Masters degree in Music, focussing in vocal performance, from the University of Alberta, and an Artists Diploma in Opera Performance from the Boston Conservatory of Music at Berklee. I have been teaching privately for nine years, maintaining a small but active music studio both online and in person. Working with my students, helping them develop their love and abilities with music, is fulfilling and brings a lot of joy into my life. I am excited to help students to explore their artistry and achieve their goals; whether it be gaining confidence in their musicality, performing recreationally and/or professionally, coping with stage fright, or for our lessons to simply be a fun activity. I personally have experience performing in opera, professional musical theatre, national and internationally renowned choirs, television and movies.
